Iota Gamma chapters create local communities of Brotherhood while remaining connected to a national network of Indigenous men committed to academic success, cultural connection, leadership, service, and one another.
From our founding at the University of Oklahoma to each campus where the Brotherhood has taken root, every chapter carries forward the purpose and standard of Iota Gamma.

Different Campuses. One Brotherhood
Every Iota Gamma chapter is unique to the campus and community it serves, but each remains grounded in the same Four Pillars, shared values, and responsibility to support Indigenous men through higher education and beyond.

Bring Iota Gamma to Your Campus
Iota Gamma chapters create local communities of Brotherhood while remaining connected to a national network of Indigenous
Iota Gamma was created because Native men need spaces where they can support one another, succeed academically, remain connected to culture and community, and prepare to use their education in service to others. Expanding Iota Gamma allows that Brotherhood to reach Indigenous men on new campuses and in new communities.
A student, group of students, alumnus, or campus partner contacts Iota Gamma to express interest in establishing a chapter.
Potential members begin organizing and learning about Iota Gamma's history, purpose, Four Pillars, expectations, and Brotherhood.
Iota Gamma works with the interested group and the college or university to determine readiness, institutional requirements, and the pathway toward recognition.
Approved prospective members complete the authorized New Member Process and begin building the foundation of the new chapter.
Once national and institutional requirements have been satisfied, the group may be formally recognized and chartered as a chapter of Iota Gamma.
Who Should Reach Out?
We welcome interest from all who want to see Indigenous men thrive on their campus and their communities, including:
Students interested in starting a chapter.
Alumni who want to support expansion.
Faculty and Staff who believe in our mission.
Campus and Community partners looking to collaborate.
